Clubs
Clubs are regular meetings at the library where we read, discuss, play, and explore topics together
Each session is a separate event, and you can attend once or on a regular basis. Library clubs dedicated to reading, board games, and themed activities are held regularly and are open to visitors of all ages. Participation is free—advance registration is required. Every month, we select topics for discover new books for reading, and update the scenarios for games and themed activities. The schedule is published once a month.
BOOK CLUBS
English Book Club
We read picture books together with our teachers and library staff, discuss short stories, learn to listen and respond, and build a child’s first trust and connection with books. The club takes place twice a month. Parent attendance is required.
June 5
Book: I Love You As Much As This by Estella Corke
A book about the power of unconditional love. We will talk about family bonds, care, kindness, and gratitude.
June 19
Book: The Baby's Catalogue by Janet and Allan Ahlberg
We will take a closer look at everyday objects — toys, spinning tops, strollers — and read a story about a world built from the small details of a child’s daily life.
Host: Iroda Oripova, preschool education specialist and library staff member.
English Book Club
We read exciting books, create stories, draw, play, and learn English in a lively and creative way. Through games, imagination, and associations, children immerse themselves in English vocabulary while developing speech, thinking skills, and a love for reading. The club takes place twice a month.
June 7
Book: The Perfect Gift by Alan Durrant & Marjan Vafaeian
A story about a kind rabbit searching for the perfect holiday gift. Along the way, she realizes that the most important gift is not an object, but attention, care, and the light we bring to others.
June 21
Book: Franklin and Luna Go To the Moon by Jen Campbell & Katie Harnett
A story about a girl named Luna and her friend Franklin the dragon. They love reading about everything in the world. One day, while reading about where different creatures come from, Franklin begins to wonder: where did he come from?
